A handful of Year 8 ‘Bedford Buddies’ were specially selected as ‘Bedford Ambassadors’ to speak at several local primary schools about their experiences at our school and to answer any questions that the curious Year 6 pupils have about secondary school life.
Ambassador, Megan Lawrence, said, “I was proud to be an ambassador for Bedford High School. I answered several queries and put many minds to rest. We’re hoping they will become a part of the Bedford family in September,” said Megan, 12.
All the students enjoyed the experience, acting professionally and business-like. The ambassadors represented the school excellently and said that they very much enjoyed interacting with the Year 6’s.
Ambassador and Enterprising Media Team member, Keanu Libbey, spoke highly of being chosen to represent our school. “It was a great experience for all of the Year 8 ambassadors,” said Keanu. “It was very interesting to see how curious the pupils were.”
We have benefitted from this experience greatly, developing our public speaking skills and ability to represent the school.” Well done to all of our Ambassadors for a great job and doing us proud!
