Our students are inspired to achieve their potential through embracing our values; To Care, To Learn, To Achieve. Working in partnership we will ensure that every student leaves Bedford with a strong sense of community and ready to be the best that they can be.

All students will:

  • Show consistent, calm adult behaviour

  • Build emotional currency and script difficult interventions

We have a modern outlook based on well-founded tradition and our motto ‘Bedford means Business’ reflects the ‘business-like’ environment we have developed and the unique opportunities we offer.

We are very ambitious for our students and we challenge them to excel.

In our school there is a sense of calm. It is ‘Business-like’. We are a collaborative, happy community with positive attitudes and responses. We smile and make eye contact and work hard for each other.

OUR LEARNING VISION

Our goal is to develop world class learners who are adaptable and can thrive in a rapidly changing and unpredictable world.

Our intention is to create an excellent climate for effective learning where hard work and self-discipline are valued and rewarded. Inspirational teaching, learning and assessment ensure that students are motivated to progress on their journey of learning and discovery.

It is our mission to achieve our Learning Vision by having a relentless focus on providing outstanding teaching and developing outstanding learners. This will be underpinned by rigorous assessment that supports our learners to excel in their achievements.
