Success at the School Games

Well done to 9 of our students from Years 7, 8, and 9 who took part in the School Games inclusive football tournament on Wednesday.

The boys put in a great performance, winning all of their matches and representing the school with distinction.

Mr. Duffy noted that it was excellent to see students from across the borough playing in the right spirit, highlighting the teamwork, leadership, and friendship on display.

Our students did themselves proud—congratulations to everyone involved!

Our Wednesday After School club have started their 6 week fishing course, lead by two Fishing Coaches from Top Cast Angling at Partridge Lakes. We spent an hour and a half, where everyone got a chance to use the rods and all but 2 people caught a fish. We had two Year 10 pupils who do a lot of fishing, come with us as Lead Learners working with the coaches to help everyone. They did an amazing job and very much impressed the coaches. We caught 10 fish - some big and some small! We had lots of fun and learned how to spot when a fish had bitten and we needed to start reeling in. We cant wait for next week!
