Bedford Wins LSV Competition

We are thrilled to announce that Bedford High School are the winners of the Leigh Sports Village Mascot Competition!  The task, set in enterprise week, was to design a new mascot for the local sports complex that would represent the local area and pay tribute to the range of sports played at there.  Leighon The Liger, designed by pupils in Year 9 was the worthy winner, with the combined strength of a lion and athleticism of a tiger showing the attributes needed in modern sport.
