Educational Visit

Bedford High School is committed to providing our students with opportunities which will raise aspirations, develop employability skills, make informed choices and enable them to apply their learning in a real-life context.

Your child has the opportunity of an educational visit as outlined below.

Date of Visit Wednesday, 8th February 2017
Title of Visit Visit to the Imperial War Museum, Manchester


Visit Description This annual and popular trip for GCSE History students will incorporate a Workshop: Holocaust People and Places as well as a tour of the museum and exhibitions.
Contribution £8.00 and the trip is being offered on a first come, first served basis: therefore, in order to secure a place, it is important that the payment is made to U Block School Office, together with the Consent Form before Friday, 27th January 2017. Payment is preferred online using your Wisepay account or by cash/cheque – made payable to Bedford High School, with the name of the student written on the back.
Time leaving school Depart 9am
Time arriving back at school 2.45pm (depart 2pm from the Imperial War Museum). Please make alternative arrangements should there be unexpected delays in traffic resulting in a late arrival back to school.
Uniform or non-uniform Uniform
Lunch provided Students should take a packed lunch.

(A packed lunch will be provided for students in receipt of free school meals)
