Dear Year 7 Parent

Aspirations Week – Trips on 10 & 11 July

On the 10 and 11 July 2018, in addition to Bushcraft and the Humanities Lyme Park trips, there are two additional educational trips for those students not taking part in Bushcraft or Lyme Park.

If your child has not chosen to go on the Bushcraft or Lyme Park trips, we would appreciate parents considering the trips below and returning the attached consent form (click here for the consent form) and ticking the appropriate trip, at the earliest opportunity.

10 July – Big Bang Fair in Liverpool

Visit Description The Big Bang North West is an educational STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) event, and they promote “performances, hands-on experiments and experiences. Fire shows, dry ice, gadgets, robots, coding, forensics, creatures, slime, medical magic and so much more”.
Cost Entrance to the Big Bang is free.

11 July – Chester Zoo

Visit Description This is an exciting opportunity where students can experience the interdependence between animals and expand their knowledge and understanding of adaptations and food chains.
Cost The cost of the trip is £22.50 and includes coach travel and entry to the zoo.

Payment to be made through Wise Pay by Thursday, 7th June 2018.
