Public Footpath Works

The canal towpath adjacent to school has recently been upgraded. Work is scheduled to start on improving the footpath between the canal towpath and school grounds on Tuesday 10th January and be complete by the end of the week. The extent of the works are shown on the attached plan. Contractors will keep the footpath open during the works and stop work and guide any pedestrians through the site during construction. The site will be left safe and tidy at the end of each working day.

 

Bedford High School will close for the Christmas holiday at 2pm on the 21st December and reopen on Monday 9th January at 8.30am.

 

The last couple of weeks have been very busy at Bedford for pupils and staff with fun packed events. The Christmas Concert was a great success and we also held the Pensioners Christmas party which was enjoyed by all involved.

 

Merry Christmas to all our staff, pupils and parents.

 

Bedford High School will be closed to pupils on Wednesday 30th November due to industrial  action. School will reopen to pupils on Thursday 1st December.

Former Bedford High pupil Callum Flynn meets the Prime Minister as he is nominated for Britain's kindest kid.

Year 7,8 and 9 are invited to Halloween Party Night. Ticket are available from pupil support and the library for £1. The party is from 6pm until 8pm and there will be stalls, face-painting and other fun things to do. Refreshments will also be on sale for about 10p per item.
