A small, select group of our students were recently sent out to St John’s Primary School to teach Year 3 pupils about their culture, alongside one of our own teaching assistants, Mrs Parr.
The pupils were divided into small groups of six and were presented with images and information about our own student’s life in their original countries and their difference in culture. Many of the children said that this was their favourite part of the school day and recounted lots of important facts that they had learnt. It also enabled them to think about their own diverse culture, with some of the children sharing that they too had relatives who were of Lithuanian origin. We would like to congratulate the group for their fantastic efforts and for bring a credit to our school!
