Humanities Terracotta Warriors Trip – World Museum, Liverpool
25 Humanities Students had the great experience of seeing the Terracotta Warriors Exhibition at the World Museum, Liverpool.
Bedford Arts staff started to prepare for the end of year show, Matilda, this week with Bedford drama students and Christ Church Primary School.
Reclaim ‘Future Leaders’ Project
A further session took place with year 7 students and certain students will move to the next stage and participate in the full project. The staff were very impressed with all of our students and wished they could have given all of them a place on the course. As it is though they have expanded the number of places they have been able to offer from 10-12 to 16!
Work Experience at Leigh Spinners Mill
2 year 10 students (Sorina and Lucia) attended a meeting at Leigh Spinners Mill to discuss and prepare for forthcoming work experience at The Mill. Leigh Spinners Mill will be delivering educational workshops to primary school pupils supported by Sorina, Lucia and additional student, Sandra.
10 Sports Leaders have been involved with Sports Leader training with Lancashire Cricket Club coaches in preparation for leading the Wigan and Leigh Primary schools cricket competition at LSV in June.
Visit to Year 9 Food Classes
Ms. Majenty an Assistant Deputy Head at a High school in Oxfordshire visited year 9 Food Classes to talk to students about her experience of working with the Hairy Bikers in her school and at the end complimented the children on how well they had listened.
