Students learn more about the world through studying languages. They also learn about the specialism through languages. run their own 'language cafe' which tests their trading as well as their language skills.

KEY STAGE 4
In Years 10 & 11 the pupils follow the Modular French or Spanish Course, when they revisit all the vocabulary and grammar structures they have previously met in Years 7-9, but go into it in more depth. The Pupils take the AQA Modular GCSE Examination in French, which divides the subject into four wide topics.
The first Module is entitled 'My World'
The second Module covers all aspects of 'Holiday & Travel'
The third Module covers the topics connected with 'Work & Lifestyle'
The fourth Module is 'The Young Person in Society'
The benefits of this Modular Course are that the Candidates get very early Feedback on their performance, which proves to be very motivating. The Coursework Elements in Modules 1 & 3 reward consistent effort over the two-year Course.
